Tim and Jon in Rome
Tim and Jon presented at the Web2forDev conference in Rome, September 2007. We talked about the language revitalization project, the DVD productions and about how we are using Web 2 technologies to distribute some of our multimedia and photographic materials.
Our presentation was well received.

Traditional Stories
DVDs and CDs of traditional stories told in language with subtitles in both languages to facilitate language learning as well as more common use of the language in the meantime increasing exposure to Hul'q'umi'num'.
Bighouse speaking
The CURA project has been working on the Bighouse Speaking project since May 2005.
Working closely with Willie Seymour, Ed Seymour, and a number of elders' groups in the Hul'q'umi'num speaking territory in Southern Vancouver Island, we have created four interactive DVDs. Two DVDs cover the importance of the language to the Hul'q'umi'num speaking communities and the current state of the language. Two others specifically cover the Naming Ceremony used in the Bighouse for hundreds of years.
